Miniclip why are you so bad? Agar.io PC abandoned

 

Its been no secret that since Miniclip purchased Agar.io that the game has just gone downhill. They have ruined the best game ever, and their developers who cant even fix simple issues should be fired. I have never seen a company as incompetent as Miniclip. Myself and others have on multiple times contacted Miniclip to help patch bots but they never respond.

It now seems that they have no interest in fixing Agar.io as this was recently posted on the agario discord by Mistik

"Hi guys

Unfortunately I have some bad news regarding Agario PC.

Most of you already know that the state of Agario PC has been in a very bad  state the last few years with constant performance issues and bots.

The PC version of Agario has seen a massive decline and in all honesty I had to end my clan as all my friends quit Agario PC due to all the issues.

It's sad to see Agario PC this way, as in 2015/2016 the game was flourishing with over 500,000 concurrent users and now the game only has around 10,000 players which 50% are bots.

Several companies and individuals have contacted Miniclip to fix the issues on Agar PC, but alas nothing has happened.

I recently spoke to the CEO myself to resolve the issues, offering to fix them or recommending someone else who could fix them however the response I got was

"I realise that PC is more interesting for you, but Miniclip’s business has now shifted to mobile, where we need to focus our efforts for the future."

Its safe to assume that Miniclip has essentially abandoned Agario PC at this point and there wont be any updates ever anymore, my understanding is that Agario PC is now end of life, so as soon as the profits end for Agario PC it will close down.

Its a shame that Miniclip doesnt see the potential in Agario PC, as it is what made Agario explode, and once had a thriving community of YouTubers but it seems we have been abandoned. I still believe Agario PC has alot of potential.

For PC players we have a saying

We never quit Agario

Agario quit us.

Anyway once again probably not the best news for PC players, and it is sad thats it come to this, however the good news is that Miniclip have made it clear that they will continue to update and fix issues on Mobile Agario."

I just cant believe how stupid Miniclip is. PC Agar.io is what made the game famous, sure they might be making more money from Mobile now, but this is ALL THEIR FAULT. Agario PC in 2015/2016 would have 500k users online, and now the game has only probably 2-3k real players and the rest are all bots. 

I really dont know what to say other than I am so dissapointed, and I think Miniclip is a terrible company and they should give Agar.io to another company who will actually fix the game.
